Overcomers Christian Academy (OCA) is a ministry of Overcomers Christian Fellowship (OCF). OCA was born out of the OCF Mission and Vision Statement to reach the untaught, the uncommitted, the unsaved and the unchurched. In alignment with OCF, OCA is building a teaching and training center to embrace all children, Kindergarten through 12th grade. At Overcomers Christian Academy, we believe it is God’s commandment that we teach our children diligently not only academic knowledge but the Word of God (Deuteronomy 6:4-9).

We are utilizing the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum: Bible-based, character-building Christian educational materials. By integrating character-building principles and Scripture memory into the academics, children grow to see life from God’s point of view. By focusing on the individual needs of the child, the A.C.E. program helps children master each concept before moving on to the next one. Children learn goal-setting habits and how to take responsibility for their own learning. The result – graduates with excellent academic knowledge and the strength of character to do right! The A.C.E. program is currently being used successfully in 7,000 schools in 145 countries worldwide.

The curriculum:

  • Stresses the uniqueness of each child
  • Produces academic excellence based on mastery of the subject
  • Incorporates Godly character-building training and Biblical principles
  • Teaches children to think and use Godly wisdom, viewing life from God’s perspective
