In
2005 a crusade was scheduled for four days in the city of
Bauchi, a predominantly Islamic city.
There were more than 10,000 people in attendance each
night (Play e-video
below). We were told half of the people inside were outside since there was no room to sit the people
anymore. More than 2,800 people committed their lives to Christ throughout the four days
meeting.
Many were healed of one illness or the
other. We had over 300 churches and pastors that participated in the
meetings.
One of the team members from our church Leslie Green started a shoe campaign for the
children. She has been collecting shoes and shipping them to the needy children in Bauchi through one of the local
pastors. We are currently supporting three pastors in
Nigeria.
